Bruce Aiken will be discussing his quest and process to uncover the actual colors of the individual layers of the canyon. He'll conduct a further discussion about actual rocks with even deeper stories to tell through their color. Seasonal light and time of day lighting situations produce quite stunning color that, from afar, actually make the dominant hue of the Canyon itself. The whole lecture will take the listener through his discoveries with a powerpoint and actual visuals and hand held samples of colorful Grand Canyon parts.
