The public and artists alike are invited to a free opening reception for the Prelude To Open Studios art exhibition on July 27, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Coconino Center for the Arts. There will be live music, delectables, and beverages. Many participating artists will be in attendance to chat about their work.

The Prelude to Open Studios art exhibition offers a preview of the work from the artists who are participating in the 16th Annual Flagstaff Open Studios event. Participating artists will each have one piece of work showing in the Prelude exhibit. Prelude to Open Studios serves as a tool for the public to get a better understanding of and help choose which artists’ studios to visit during Flagstaff Open Studios, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, August 24-25, 2013. The exhibit will run at Coconino Center for the Arts from July 30 – September 31, 2013. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00am to 5:00pm, and admission is free.
