Interested in acting in this year’s festival?

Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival is pleased to announce auditions for its 2017 Season: Cruel To Be Kind. Auditions will be held in Phoenix and Flagstaff. So far, only the Flagstaff date has been set.

Please prepare two contrasting monologues totaling no more than three minutes in length. At least one must be from the works of William Shakespeare, preferably in verse.

If you live in Flagstaff, be aware that The Merry Wives of Windsor and All’s Well That Ends Well will rehearse in Flagstaff this summer, but Macbeth will rehearse in Phoenix. All shows will run in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona, (see performance schedule below). While both Flagstaff-based and Phoenix-based actors will be considered for all shows, and some housing accommodations are possible, actors are highly encouraged to seek their own accommodations while working outside of their home community.

The following roles have been pre-cast: Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor. All other roles are open and will be cast according to Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival’s open casting policy.
