"Why Flagstaff" Discussion

Presented by Flagstaff Leadership Program at Coconino Center for the Arts

Join the Flagstaff Leadership Program for a discussion of “Why Flagstaff?” as several community leaders share what brought them to Flagstaff, and why they continue to call Flagstaff home. Invited panelists include Maury Herman, historic downtown property owner; John VanLandingham, retail and restaurant businessman; and Jonah Hill, multi-media Hopi/Quechan artist.

Special invitation is extended to FLP alumni as well as future FLP members. Information will be available about applying for the Flagstaff Leadership Program, with applications for next year’s class due April 7, 2017.

The Flagstaff Leadership Program, honored as the Arizona Daily Sun 2014 “Organization of the Year,” is a non-profit organization dedicated to leadership development within our community. FLP brings together leaders from business, government and the nonprofit sector who share their commitment to Flagstaff. The program selects an annual class of 25 applicants who meet monthly to learn about diverse aspects of Flagstaff and connect with community leaders. FLP’s alumni number over 600, including non-profit board members, past and present city and county leaders, and a former member of Congress.
