Join the National Art Honor Society at Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy and One New Education for our annual event: Dance Party For ONE and All - Chairs For Change. Place your bid on a piece of transformed furniture and enjoy music and dance performances, food, and activities. The event will be held on February 26, 2017 at the Coconino Center for the Arts; doors open at 2:00 pm and festivities will begin at 2:30 pm.

A welcoming environment for all ages

The afternoon will feature a variety of performers, including FALA’s choreographers, Ballet Folklorico de Colores, FALA’s action band, and Vusi Shibambo and Friends African Dunun Ensemble from Sedona. Throughout the event you can expect to learn a Bollywood dance, celebrate with One Million Rising, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and punch, and have the chance to paint your face or get a henna tattoo. There will be something enjoyable to do for all those who attend.

Support local artists and a great cause!

This event is a fundraiser for One New Education, an organization that gives scholarships to girls around the world to receive an education. Local artists and students have worked to transform chairs, desks, stools, and tables into artwork for your home or practical furniture for use. A silent auction will be held throughout the duration of the event; place a bid to win a chair and help send a girl to school!
