7TH ANNUAL HOPI ARTS & CULTURAL FESTIVAL

The 7th Annual Hopi Arts & Cultural Festival September 24th & 25th, 2016 on Heritage Square in the center of downtown Flagstaff draws over twenty thousand visitors each year, and is known to be the Grand Canyon state's outstanding event of the year for visitors and residents to experience the best of Northern Arizona Native American cultural experience. The festival of Hopi is proud to bring together the culture and art from the many Hopi artisans presenting both traditional and contemporary art. The festival will include social dances, music traditional and contemporary throughout the week-end. Artisan's onsite will include potters, carvers of wood/gourd, basket weavers, jewelers, textile weavers, painters and many other types of art. The festival showcases an array of prominent, nationally recognized dancer's / dance groups, musicians, Hopi cuisine and demonstrators. The festival brings to the public education by way of art, traditional social dances for everyone's enjoyment. The festival aims to bring together people to learn from one another togetherness, happiness and stewardship of mother earth for all people of different walks of life. This year’s proceeds will go to Education to help our upcoming leaders to provide for a better way of life for all.

Festival times for both Saturday & Sunday are from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
