From Critical Care to Integrative Health Care. Working as a Registered Nurse for over 35 years, pain and stress relief and health promotion became my ultimate goals. Providing education and integrative therapies since 2000, I incorporate conventional nursing with meditation, hypnosis, reiki (ray-kee) sessions and training to promote wellness.

Reiki in Hospitals and Healthcare. An ‘evidence-based,’ presentation of reiki has allowed me to bring reiki into major hospitals and academic healthcare settings in the Boston area since 1999, including the North Shore Medical Center (NSMC), Mass General Hospital and Tufts Medical Center Cancer Centers. Reiki Research. A pilot study was conducted at NSMC.

1st Degree Reiki: Self-Reiki for Self-Care. Trained in Traditional (Western) Usui Reiki and Japanese (Komyo) Reiki, I bring both aspects of reiki (therapeutic and spiritual) into my sessions and classes. While I offer all levels of Reiki Training, it begins with Shoden/1st Degree. The emphasis at this level is on ‘Self-Reiki for Self-Care.’ No matter what level of reiki training you attain, it always comes back to a focus on self-reiki. Developing a ‘me-first’ attitude allows for better balance and health in our own lives.
