Sustainable Building Tour

Presented by Coconino County Sustainable Building Program and Willow Bend Environmental Education Center at Willow Bend Environmental Education Center, Flagstaff AZ

The annual, self-guided tour features homes showcasing passive solar design, greywater and rainwater reuse, and sustainable construction methods such as adobe, insulated concrete forms and strawbale. Additional features include local materials, solar thermal (hot-water) for domestic and space heating, Xeriscaping, and high density development through accessory dwelling units.
