Brush up on your botanical knowledge and and acquire the skills needed to learn about northern Arizona native plants.
This 5-week course will focus on classifying, identifying, and gardening with native plants in northern Arizona, specifically in the higher elevations of Coconino County. The course, which will meet for 2 hours each session for 5 weeks, will include lectures from local native plant experts along with hands on activities using dichotomous keys and preparing herbarium specimens. The class will be taught online using Zoom.

This course is available to Master Gardeners and the public. It is an advanced training class for Master Gardeners and the cost is $50. The public can take the course for $100.
