NAU CAL-SBS Film Series

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, local filmmaker Ivey Camille Manybeads Tso will present and lead a discussion about her award winning 2022 documentary Powerlands. Tso, a young Navajo filmmaker, investigates displacement of Indigenous people and the devastation of the environment caused by the same chemical companies that have exploited the land where she was born.  The film series is free and open to the public.
