When 400,000 men couldn’t get home, home came for them.

In May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping thousands of Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. In an act of desperation, Britain called on civilian boats to aid its hard-pressed Navy in a history-making evacuation.

Told as three intercut timelines, Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award winning film not only captures the terror of war, but also the courage and compassion of the responsible for what has become known as the Miracle at Dunkirk.

NOTE: This film is rated PG-13 for intense war experience, violence, and some language.
