Kachina Wetlands Bird Walk

Presented by Northern Arizona Audubon Society at Kachina Wetlands, Flagstaff AZ

Apr 22 2019
Kachina Wetlands Bird Walk

View ducks, herons, and ospreys up close with a spotting scope and learn about birds at one of Flagstaff’s best birding locations.

Northern Arizona Audubon offers monthly bird walks at Kachina Wetlands. You won’t want to miss our April bird walk, because this is the height of spring migration. Kachina Wetlands is Flagstaff's premiere location for birding, with over 200 species recorded over the years and 20-40 species seen on any given day.  The site is wheelchair accessible, and the event is perfect for all ages.

To reach Kachina Wetlands from Flagstaff, take I-17 south about six miles to the Kachina Village exit. ... view more »
