International Day of Peace-Walk for Peace

We invite the Flagstaff Community to join together safely in a walk for peace on Sept. 19 starting at 10:30 am at Heritage Square preceded first by Mayor Coral Evans who will share the Peace Proclamation at 10:00 am as the Peace Pole is rededicated. Then we will walk, keeping a safe physical distance from each other, to the Ice House Peace Pole and back. MASKS REQUIRED. The walk will conclude by noon.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

If your event is being affected, canceled, or postponed due to the response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, please provide the details below.:

Due to the Coronavirus(COVID-19) we will not be able to have the usual big event on Heritage Square. We still will be celebrating International Peace Day by rededicating the Heritage Square Peace Pole and the Mayor's reading of the Flagstaff Peace Proclamation followed by the walk. We are requiring safe physical distancing and masks during the Mayor's proclamation and the walk.
