Inspiring Youth Empowerment: Healthy Relationships Forum

Our program, “Inspiring Youth Empowerment,” in partnership with Victim Witness Services of Coconino County, and Coconino Community College, has developed an educational program to help prevent dating/relationship violence.  The program will strive to improve confidence, safety, and well being, of the youth of Flagstaff . Through education we will empower young people, as well as their families and friends, to recognize the signs of an unhealthy relationship and to know how to respond.  Our goal is to educate young people, and their parents about establishing healthy dating relationships, self-care, and setting boundaries.  Even though it is our hope to reach youth ages 13+, we need to start with the community leaders and parents that will allow our program to be shared with their children or youth groups.
