Flagstaff will again be celebrating International Peace Day on Sept. 21 at Heritage Square, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Established by the United Nations in 2001, International Peace Day is held every September 21^st worldwide. Flagstaff has celebrated International Peace Day since 2014. Making peace with others and one’s self is the focus of the day. Events will take place at Heritage Square with the Peace Run/Walk beginning at 7:00 AM. Other activities throughout the day include music, educational booths about peace, rededication of the Peace Pole, and peace-oriented crafts for children.
