Culpable

Cupable is a contemporary performance featuring dance, aerial silks, harness dance, trapeze and Lyra.
Recently, several of my classmates and I, volunteered with Rancho Feliz and No Mas Muertes for an experiential service trip on the U.S-Mexico Border. We partnered with these groups to learn more about the conflicts on the border and the lives of people who attempt to migrate across. A fellow student and I are putting on this show, Culpable, with the intention of raising money to donate to Rancho Feliz and No Mas Muertes, as well as raise awareness about the dangers migrants face. Immigration is an increasingly debated topic, and often times we lose the humanity behind the issue. Migrants, Border Patrol, Citizens-both U.S Mexican, or Latin American- are all humans, and deserve to be treated as such. All of the directors of this show are high school students, who care deeply about improving our immigration system and trying to improve the lives of migrants. Your support of our show is helping to make our goals come true, and for that, we are incredibly thankful.
