Copy Your Clothes: In Person Sewing Workshop

Create a pattern from your favorite garment—without taking it apart!

We will learn about fabric grain, why it matters, and how to use it along with other techniques to “decode” something made of fabric and make a new one just like it—or even better! We’ll also go over adjustments for the best fit, and how fabric choices can affect the finished garment along with the pattern.

These techniques are how Tasha, the instructor, gets most of the patterns she uses for her handmade wardrobe.
