Accent and NAU Shrine of the Ages Choir at NAU Jazz Madrigal Festival

Northern Arizona University’s Choral Studies and the Kitt School of Music are proud to welcome Accent, one of the premier vocal ensembles in the world, to two performances at the annual Jazz Madrigal Festival! Catch Accent on February 9 or 10 at 7:30 pm in Ardrey Auditorium.

Accent began in 2011 as an internet collaboration of a cappella vocalists from five different countries. After years of singing together virtually, they performed live for the first time in 2014. Since then, they have continued to meld contemporary a cappella, jazz and pop into one signature sound. NAU’s premier choral ensemble, Shrine of the Ages, will join Accent in concert under the direction of Dr. Timothy Westerhaus.
