Fans of Grand Canyon are familiar with the extreme adventure photography of Emery and Ellsworth Kolb. The Kolbs created a lucrative business making movies and taking pictures of tourists along the trail beginning in 1903. From the brothers’ studio perched at the edge of the canyon, Emery publicly showed historic video footage of the Kolbs shooting Colorado River rapids.
