Route 66
There are still plenty of places in Flagstaff that recall the days of Route 66, the iconic highway built in 1926 that became known as The Main Street of America. Check out the Museum Club, a historic roadhouse built along Route 66 in 1931, where locals and travelers gather for live country music and dancing. The city also hosts the annual Route 66 Days, a festival with entertainment, activities and a classic-car show.
