Night at the Museum: We Are Going In!

Night at the Museum: We Are Going In!

Presented by The Pioneer Museum at The Pioneer Museum

On June 30, 1956 TWA Flight 2 from Los Angeles to Kansas City and United Flight 718 from Los Angeles bound for Chicago crashed in midair over Grand Canyon, Arizona. All 128 passengers and crew on both aircraft perished when the planes impacted with the canyon walls. Our presenter for this free evening event is Mike Nelson, the nephew of oneĀ  ill-fated passenger. Mr. Nelson thoroughly researched the tragedy and compiled his findings in the book, We Are Going In. The evening will end with a book signing. Please RSVP for this event as seating is limited. Wine and local craft beer is always available at Pioneer Museum!
