Experience the flavor of rare whiskies in the dining room of Tim Riordan’s 1904 craftsman home.
In partnership with the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society, the evening will begin with an Irish toast and dram of Irish Whiskey. Guests will then enter through Tim's front door to be seated at Tim's table! The session will be led by Richard and Jude McKenzie, Scotch experts.
Richard and Jude will discuss tasting techniques, the difference between whisky and Scotch and the meaning behind "single" malt. Guests will be served four whiskies (1/2 ounce each) along with a variety of hors d'oeuvres selected to pair nicely with each of the whiskies.
Sessions will be held on Friday, March 15th and Saturday, March 16th. Each night will have two sessions beginning promptly at 5:30 and 7:30 with mingling before and after. Ticket prices are $100 and support preservation and education at Riordan Mansion. Guest will also receive a ticket to tour Riordan Mansion on a date of their choice.
If you've ever been on a tour, you know this is special because staff and volunteers take great care to protect the home and its artifacts. The home was built in 1904 by brothers Michael and Tim Riordan and contains the families’ original furnishings.
