The NAU Wind Symphony, under the direction of the newly-appointed director of bands, Dr. Stephen Meyer, presents its first concert of the 2018-2019 season titled “The BEST of ALL Possible Worlds.”
This concert celebrates the 100th birthday of iconic American composer and conductor, Leonard Bernstein, with selections from his operetta, Candide. Serving as the narrator for this performance will be none other than NAU President, Rita Cheng!
The repertoire for this concert will include "Rocky Point Holiday" by Ron Nelson, "Symphony No. 6" by Vincent Persichetti, "Suite from Candide" by Leonard Bernstein, with President Rita Cheng, narrator, and the Free Lance March by John Philip Sousa.
Adults: $12.50
Seniors/NAU Employees: $7.50
