Enjoy Sinatra songs sung by four professional singers accompanied by piano and bass as well as a three course meal.
The Weatherford Hotel in partnership with pianist Charly Spining and vocalist Lynn Timmons Edwards will present a dinner and luncheon theater musical revue, Salute to Sinatra. The Weatherford is currently taking reservations for Saturday, July 21st at 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 22 at noon. Appetizers and a plated meal will be followed by the show and dessert.
The production will feature the singing talents of Jeanie Carroll, Doug Riddle and Christy Welty as well as Lynn Timmons Edwards accompanied by Charly Spining on piano and Devon Haaser on bass. Stories and insights about Sinatra and his musical life will be provided by Bobby “Bones” Edwards, a “friend of the family” from Hoboken. The audience will delight to songs recorded by Mr. Sinatra between the years of 1941 and 1994 but the vibe will be Las Vegas circa 1960. For those patrons who like to dress for the show, gentleman can don their black tie or get their mobster on and ladies can think Sands Hotel showroom where you might be seated next to John and Jackie Kennedy.
Tickets are $50; drinks, tax and gratuity are additional. There are a limited number of seats and advance reservations are required. Patrons must be twelve years or older, accompanied by an adult. The audience is welcome to gather in the Hotel Lobby where the bar will be open prior to the seating at 6 p.m. Appetizers will be served first and patrons can enjoy the cash bar prior to dinner and the show.
At the matinee luncheon, door will open at noon followed by appetizers, a plated meal, the show and dessert.
