As the field of technology continues to innovate, privacy and the secure flow of information may be fleeting concepts. How can we regain control over the flow of information?
Hot Topics Cafés returns Thursday, Nov. 30th, 6- 7:30 p.m. at the Museum of Northern Arizona! This Hot Topics Café will be about how our daily routines and important life decisions are made in an environment where information is spreads easily and in unforeseen ways. We will discuss how data mining affects our day-to-day opportunities and options, and how we can regain control over the flow of information.
The speaker for this Hot Topics Café will be Dr. Laura Ruth Lenhart, from the School of Information at the University of Arizona. Following her presentation, we will conduct a discussion about the topic with attending community members.
This event is FREE, open to the public and free refreshments will be served. We hope to see you all there!
