The Hochderffer family was involved in many aspects of Flagstaff’s earliest development. Arizona Historical Society archivists have recently processed the family’s extensive donated items, including a variety of diaries, letters, field notes, scrapbooks, ephemera, and rare photos illustrating territorial life in Flagstaff and around Arizona.
