New altered mixed media monotypes and stitched textile collages by Flagstaff artist Darcy Falk are on display through September in downtown Flagstaff.
A new series of artworks by Flagstaff artist Darcy Falk is on display through September in downtown Flagstaff. The exhibit features almost 30 original pieces of altered mixed media monotypes and stitched textile collages that incorporate rich fabrics, stitching and screen-printed images into thought-provoking artworks. Many pieces were inspired by Colorado Plateau landscapes and climate change. Falk has been creating and exhibiting her artwork for over 30 years in Flagstaff and around the U.S.
The artist will be on site during the September 1 First Friday Artwalk from 4-8 p.m. For more information or to make a purchase, contact the artist at (928) 606-5345 or email darcyfalk@gmail.com. 10% of all retail sales are donated to Planned Parenthood.
