Enjoy Gilbert & Sullivan’s most delightful romp, The Pirates of Penzance, a musical work that has been enjoyed by audiences for over 125 years and across the globe. Famous tunes include “I am the very model of a modern Major-General”, “Poor wand’ring one” and “With Cat-like Tread” (which has become known to Americans as “Hail, hail the gang’s all here!”). Join Fredric, who believes his Pirates days are over on his 21st birthday, as he struggles with the ramifications of being born on leap year making his 21st birthday really only a FIVE year anniversary and enslaving him to stay a pirate for decades to come. This production is set in the 1960’s on a seaside resort of Major General Stanley’s adding to the already hilarious comedy of one of Gilbert & Sullivan’s best!
