Annual Holiday Dinner

Annual Holiday Dinner

Presented by Northern Arizona University, College of Arts and Letters and Northern Arizona University School of Music at Du Bois Center

The major emphasis of the fall semester and a very meaningful event to students, faculty, and the community is the Annual Holiday Dinner performances. The dinner is one of the students’ greatest accomplishments as they serve and entertain over 1,600 patrons during the course of four performances in early December. All proceeds from this special event are used to fund scholarships and travel for students pursuing undergraduate degrees in choral music education and vocal performance.

The 43rd annual Holiday Dinner performances will be Thursday, November 30 through Sunday, December 3, 2017. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:00 p.m. The Sunday performance begins at 5:00 p.m. Guests are escorted to the DuBois Center ballroom that has been turned into a winter wonderland. Performances are given by six choral ensembles, the Harold M. Harter Handbell Choir, along with several small group and solo performances.

The cost per person (including children) is $70, which includes the performance and a three-course dinner. Tickets are available through a special Holiday Dinner brochure from the Choral Studies office. Because of the popularity of the dinners, tickets are available only through mail order. To receive a brochure, please contact the Choral Studies Office at 928-523-5190. Only the Holiday Dinner brochure and postcards announcing the Choral Ensemble concerts are sent to patrons on the Holiday Dinner mailing list.
