The 40th edition is Arizona's second oldest Half Marathon, and the ONLY one that directly impacts the lives of local youth in the high country! The Dave McKay Memorial Half Marathon/5K Fun Run/walk is an adventure with the monsoon madness and spectacular views. It is considered one of the most scenic and challenging half marathons in the Southwest and all proceeds benefit children by helping Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff match them with appropriate adult mentors.

Runners an get their packet pick-up at Run Flagstaff from 3 to 6 PM Thursday, August 10th or on August 11th at the FREE Fratellis Pizza dinner and packet pick up. Runners can also register race day for an additional charge. We are a proud member race of the Run Flagstaff Summer Series!  

On race day, August 12th, you can walk the Half Marathon beginning at 6 AM. Half Marathon race starts at 7:30 AM, 5K at 7:45 AM, and kids dash 7:50 AM. For our 40th edition, we will present commemorative medals to all Half Marathon Finishers!  Kid's Dash participants get a medal too. Special hi-tech t-shirt included for all half and 5K runners. Division awards in Half Marathon 18 and under; 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Free Fratelli's Pizza at packet pick up Friday night, 6 to 8 PM at Thorpe Park Picnic Ramada. Run our Half Marathon or 5K and help children across Northern Arizona succeed!
