Art 35°North, a juried organization of northern Arizona artists, is pleased to present the second annual New Latitude Exhibit and Art Tour during the month of July. The mission of the group is to foster “collaboration, conversations, community and creativity.”
As part of A New Latitude, Flagstaff Modern and Contemporary Gallery will exhibit the work of Art35N artists participating in the Art Tour. The exhibit runs July 1st through July 30th with an opening reception during Flagstaff First Friday Artwalk on July 7 from 6–9 p.m. The gallery is located at 215 S. San Francisco St.
Participants of A New Latitude will open their homes and studios to the public with weekend tours in Williams July 15 & 16 and in Flagstaff July 22 & 23 from 10–5. Participating artists include painter Gwendolyn Waring, potter Joni Pevarnik, glass worker Patricia Kearney, jeweler Christina Norlin, blacksmith Tom Williams and sculptor Michael Barbaric. Many studios will host demonstrations and make & take projects for visitors.
