The popular Summer Concert Series features a wide variety of world-music performances on warm summer Saturday evenings in Flagstaff and is enjoyed by children and adults of all ages. Attendees of the concerts can purchase local beer, wine and food, or bring their own picnic dinner and non-alcoholic beverages.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, J.White has become one of the biggest names in smooth jazz. As a young musician, J.White studied under the late Emil Acitelli, perfecting his musicianship throughout college and earning his Bachelors of Science in Music. “I want my music to have identity and purpose and be felt by people from all walks of life. The freedom and life I feel when I’m on stage or in a night club playing with my eyes closed, is the same feeling I want listeners to experience when they turn my records on.” – J-White
