This “citizen comedy” is a lively portrait of Elizabethan England in which Shakespeare leaves the realm of royal intrigue and follows the laughable, if not always lovable, Sir John Falstaff off the battlefield and into a romantic fray. Sir John’s would-be lovers band together to give the scheming knight his comeuppance in a hilarious tale that anticipates the screwball comedy of 20th-century film but retains the Bard’s signature wit and sophistication.
You’ll cheer aloud for the cheeky women of Windsor as they band together, and stick up for themselves, to find, reignite, and maintain their romances.
$20 per show for adults ($30 for two shows) and $10 for children ages 16 and under (ages 5 and under are free).
Students, teachers, active-duty military and seniors 65 and older (with ID) qualify for a discount price of $14.
