Brown Bag Lecture about the range of citizens in Flagstaff’s early history.
As Flagstaff grew into a flourishing lumber town and tourist destination, workers, immigrants, women, and people of color were fighting for equal rights locally, as well as across the nation. Historically, Flagstaff was home to a diverse population of citizens. We often only hear the stories of one small segment of the population that called this town their home.
