Join the NAU Symphonic Band and conductor William Kinne for a musical journey through “Cityscapes and Countrysides.”
The divergent urban landscapes of New York City and San Antonio are deftly captured in the music of composers Michael Markowski (City Trees), Norman Dello Join (From Every Horizon), and Frank Ticheli (San Antonio Dances). Meanwhile, the pastoral music of Aaron Copland (Appalachian Spring) and Stephen Bryant (Dusk) provide a fitting counterpoint to the music of the cities.
