Kachina Wetlands Bird Walk

Kachina Wetlands is known for its high diversity of birds due to the presence of many habitat conditions, including two ponds, a marsh area, grasslands, and forest. Meet at the entrance to Kachina Wetlands, 2375 Utility Road, Flagstaff, Arizona at 8 am. Bring binoculars if you have them, water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Distance walked will be about one mile along a graveled road that is wheelchair accessible. The walk will be led by Terry Blows, a knowledgeable birder with many years of experience in bird ecology and identification. You will have the opportunity to see a variety of resident and migrating water birds.
