This is a beginner's Hula course (no experience necessary), open to men and women ages 16 and up, consisting of 3 intensive 2 hour Hula training classes on Saturdays: June 28, August 30, & September 27. Hawaiian language, culture, and values are all a part of Hula, but the main focus will be on learning the dances of Hawai`i. Students should dress comfortably and bring water, snacks, paper and pens/pencils.

About the instructor: Kumu Hula (Hula Master) Kehau Chrisman is originally from O`ahu where she was trained in the traditional protocols (similar to a PhD in Hula) by highly respected Hula Masters. She started teaching Hula on the Big Island Of Hawai`i in 1997 and in 2004 moved to AZ and started teaching Hula in Cottonwood, Flagstaff, and Prescott Valley.
