Suitable for all ages, these classes will help develop healthy patterns of movement. We will move slowly and gently either on the floor or in sitting, kneeling or standing. Each class will approach a different movement pattern. Feldenkrais lessons involve no stretching or straining and require only minimal muscular effort. We use slow, easy-to-do movements that are designed to engage the brain’s ability to change in response to stimulus (its neuroplasticity) to improve the body’s underlying neuromuscular and skeletal organization.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in without restriction. Dress in layers in order to stay warm. Bring a blanket or mat to lie on.
Individual Functional Integration lessons at a discounted rate are available to those taking the class series.
