Education Town Hall with AZ Governor Candidates

Public education supporters are invited to hear from candidates who are challenging Governor Ducey in the November 2018 statewide election. Candidates will speak about education issues, including public ed. funding and the teacher shortage crisis.

Come at 5 pm to network with other education advocates, or show up at 6 for the main event--a moderated town hall where you can submit questions to ask of the two Democratic candidates for governor: Steve Farley and David Garcia.

David Garcia ran for Superintendent of Public Instruction last year and is a professor of education policy at ASU. Steve Farley is a longtime state senator representing the Tucson area and runs a small business. Both have plans to inject funding into our public ... view more »
