During the first half of the workshop, participants will become familiar with the media. After lunch break, each student will be creating their own painting. Tanner will have a still life set up that may be painted, but students may paint what ever they wish. The instructor will be there to answer questions and assist.   A variety of watercolor paper brands and weights will be used along with Yupo a synthetic paper.

This workshop has been designed to introduce participants to a variety of traditional & non-traditional materials. Participants will be encouraged to play with the media and see where it will lead.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older, or be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also a paid participant.  Participants should dress comfortably. While watercolor is not a particularly messy media, it is staining and may damage clothing. Please choose accordingly.
