American Soldier

This semester’s films will feature film noir from around the world and from a wide period ranging from 1931 to 2006. Besides telling thrilling stories of crime, the underworld, and femmes fatales, these films examine questions of morality, modernity, the battle of the sexes, and the fine line between right and wrong.

A soldier returns home from Vietnam and is hired by crooked cops to kill a few crooks but things get complicated when one cop’s girlfriend falls for him.
